Every VeltHaven garden room is the same building
Core, Signature and Executive all share the same structure: a precision-engineered steel frame, powder-coated in black or white and bolted together, 100mm PIR insulated walls and roof, and triple-glazed PVC doors and windows.
The difference between packages is never the quality of the building. It's simply how much of the electrical installation and interior finishing you'd like VeltHaven to complete before handover.

Everything in the Core Package
Core is a finished, weathertight, insulated building — not a shell that needs plastering or decorating before you can use it.
Powder-coated steel structure
A precision-engineered, heavy-duty steel frame, powder-coated in black or white and bolted together — stronger and more dimensionally stable than timber, corrosion-protected, relocatable, and built for decades of low-maintenance use. Walls and roof are insulated sandwich panels with galvanised steel facings, polyester-coated to 25 microns, bonded to a rigid PIR core.
100mm insulated walls and roof
100mm PIR insulated walls and roof keep the room comfortable in January and July alike, and keep running costs down once you add heating.
Factory-finished walls and ceiling
The insulated panels arrive with a durable factory-painted steel surface on both sides — these are the finished interior walls, not construction panels. No plasterboard, no plastering, no painting before you use the room. Many customers keep the clean, architectural factory finish; you're free to add paint, timber cladding, acoustic panels or any finish you like, whenever you like.
Triple-glazed PVC doors and windows
A triple-glazed PVC four-panel sliding door — two sliding panels, two fixed — with multi-point locking, four fixed picture windows at 800 × 2,100 mm (31.5 × 82.7 in), two on each side, and a PVC personnel door to the side or rear — thermally efficient, secure and low-maintenance.
Reinforced roof, gutters and downpipes
A reinforced roof structure with a high-performance waterproof covering, integrated gutters and downpipes — engineered for the British weather.
Your choice of exterior colour
Choose from our standard RAL exterior colours in the configurator. Anthracite RAL 7016 is the VeltHaven house colour.

What Core deliberately leaves out
Core is for customers who want to arrange their own fit-out — so you don't pay for work you'd rather organise yourself.
- Electrical installation — no wiring, consumer unit, sockets, switches, lighting or certification. (Included with Signature: all concealed wiring. Included with Executive: the complete, certified installation.)
- Floor finish — your prepared base is ready for the flooring of your choice, fitted by you or your own contractor whenever it suits. (Premium vinyl flooring is included with Signature and Executive.)
- Heating & cooling, networking, smoke and heat detectors. (Included with Executive.)
- Plumbing, kitchenettes, bathrooms and bespoke interiors — available on request; ask us after ordering.

Choose Core if you…
- Want the complete insulated building at the lowest price — and nothing you don't need.
- Already have your own electrician, builder or interior designer.
- Want full freedom over flooring, lighting, sockets and finishes.
- Prefer to fit the interior out over time, as budget and plans allow.
A word of honest advice: if you already know you'll want electrics, it's usually cheaper and cleaner to have the concealed wiring installed while we build — that's the Signature Package — than to retrofit it later. Compare Signature →.
