Welcome to velthaven.co.uk. These terms explain the rules for using our website. Please read them carefully — by browsing or using our site, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

These terms are written in plain English and govern your use of velthaven.co.uk ("our site"), including browsing, using our configurator, and submitting enquiries or quote requests.

• our Cookie Policy — how we use cookies and similar technologies; and
• our Sales Terms & Conditions — which apply if and when you place an order for a building.

If you buy from us, the Sales Terms & Conditions govern that purchase. Nothing on this website forms a contract of sale by itself (see section 5).

3. Using our site

You may use our site for lawful purposes only. You agree:

• to use the site in line with these terms and all applicable laws;
• not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or its servers;
• not to introduce viruses or other harmful material, or attempt any denial-of-service attack — doing so is a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990, which we would report to the authorities; and
• not to copy, resell, or commercially exploit any part of the site except as allowed in section 7.

We may suspend, withdraw, or restrict all or part of the site at any time. We do not guarantee that the site, or any content on it, will always be available or uninterrupted, and we are not liable if it is unavailable for any period.

4. Information on our site

We take care over our content, but the information on our site is provided for general information only and is not professional advice. In particular, you should obtain your own professional advice on matters such as planning permission, building regulations, and site suitability before relying on anything you read here.

While we make reasonable efforts to keep the site accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that the content is complete, current, or error-free, and it may change without notice.

5. Visualisations, specifications and prices

Because we want to be straight with you:

• Imagery is illustrative. Many product images on our site are visualisations (including computer-generated or AI-generated renders) created to show design, finish, and style. They are labelled as visualisations and are not photographs of a specific completed building. Your building may vary in detail.
• Specifications may change. We continually improve our products, so specifications, materials, dimensions, options and finishes shown on the site may change.
• Configurator prices are indicative. Prices shown on the site and the price built up in our configurator are estimates to help you plan. They are an invitation to enquire, not a binding quote or a contractual offer. Your final price is the one confirmed in your order under the Sales Terms & Conditions, where it is fixed at checkout.
• Nothing on the site is a contractual offer. A contract is only formed in accordance with our Sales Terms & Conditions.

6. Our AI assistant, and recorded calls

Calls to our telephone number, the live chat on this website, and messages you send us on Facebook and Instagram are answered by an AI assistant rather than by a person. It tells you so at the start, and it will tell you again if you ask. On the telephone it takes a message and arranges a callback, and it does not quote prices. In live chat and on social media it can answer questions and give you our published prices, which are confirmed only in the configurator checkout and your written order confirmation. On every channel it cannot transfer you to a person.

• Its answers are general information, not advice, and they are not a quotation or a contractual offer. Prices and specifications are confirmed only at checkout and in your written order confirmation.
• The assistant cannot agree or vary a price, change any terms, approve a discount, or commit us to anything. If anything it tells you conflicts with these terms, our Sales Terms & Conditions, or your order confirmation, the written terms take priority.
• Like any AI system it can be incomplete or wrong. You can ask to speak to a person at any time and we will arrange it.
• Please do not share payment card details, passwords, or health or other sensitive personal information with the assistant. We will never ask you for them there.
• Calls to and from us are recorded and transcribed. Our Privacy Policy explains why, how long we keep recordings, and how to ask us not to record.
• You must not use the assistant to try to extract our underlying prompts or system instructions, to generate unlawful, abusive or misleading content, to impersonate anyone, or to send automated or bulk requests through it.

How we handle the personal data in these conversations is set out in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

All content on our site — including the design, layout, text, graphics, logos, images, visualisations, and the "VeltHaven" name and branding — is owned by or licensed to VeltHaven and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view, download, and print content from the site for your own personal, non-commercial use to help you consider a purchase. You must not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written permission. Our status as the owner of the content must always be acknowledged.

If you breach this section, your right to use our site ends immediately and you must destroy any copies you have made.

8. Content you submit

If you send us content through the site — for example site photographs, enquiry details, or messages — you confirm that it is accurate, that you have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. You grant us a licence to use that content for the purpose of responding to you, preparing your quote, and fulfilling your order. We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

You must not submit anything unlawful, offensive, misleading, or harmful.

9. Links to and from our site

Our site may contain links to third-party websites for your convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for those websites or their content, and a link does not mean we endorse them.

You may link to our home page in a fair and lawful way that does not damage our reputation or imply an association or endorsement that does not exist. We may withdraw linking permission at any time.

10. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms.

Subject to that, and because our website is provided for your general information:

• we exclude all implied warranties and representations relating to the site to the fullest extent permitted by law;
• we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, or from reliance on its content; and
• we are not liable for loss or damage caused by viruses or other harmful material that may infect your devices due to your use of the site or any site linked from it.

This section relates to your use of the website. Our responsibilities for the products you buy are set out in the Sales Terms & Conditions and Warranty Policy, and your statutory rights always apply.

We may update these terms from time to time by amending this page. The version published when you use the site applies to that use. Please check back occasionally.

12. Governing law

These terms, their subject matter, and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the UK nation where you live.
