Which one is right for you
Storage, or a room you live in
Choose the Steel Garages if you mainly need secure, weather-tight storage and parking, or a workspace you use now and then. It is the most direct way to a proper steel garage at a fixed price.
Choose the Insulated Garages if you want to spend real time in there. Insulation, a warm floor underfoot and the option of climate control turn it into a room you use daily. It is the line we recommend if you plan to work, train or build in your garage.

What is a metal garage?
A metal garage is a steel-framed building — stronger and lower-maintenance than timber, faster to install than brick. VeltHaven builds two specifications: Steel Garages for secure, weather-tight storage and parking, and Insulated Garages, which add 100mm insulation for year-round use as a workshop, gym or home office.
Do I need planning permission for a metal garage?
In most cases, no. A single-storey metal garage is usually permitted development when it sits behind the front of your house, stays within the height limits for your nation, and is set back from your boundaries. Permission is more likely if it is tall near a boundary, in a conservation area, or used as separate living accommodation. What is the difference between a Steel Garage and an Insulated Garage?
A Steel Garage is a premium steel garage — secure, weatherproof and good-looking. An Insulated Garage adds 100mm PIR insulated walls and roof, making it warm and dry year-round: suitable as a workshop, gym, home office or showroom garage as well as car storage. Both lines carry the same VeltHaven 10-Year Structural Warranty.
How much does a metal garage cost?
Metal garages start at £9,995 for a Steel Garage, or £26,950 for an Insulated Garage — both fully installed, with delivery, VAT and a fixed price you see before you order. There are no hidden costs on a standard site.
